Compix Media NewsScroll

Compix Media NewsScroll is an application that can be added to any Compix Media character generator system. This software package allows the character generator to simultaneously display a real-time clock, static or animated logo, and a two scrolls of information. You can adjust the positioning of these to any portion of your video output screen. Compix Media NewsScroll also comes with Sender which is an application that is installed in a remote computer location, such as a laptop or workstation. With Sender the end-user is able to connect to the Compix Media Character Generator by LAN, Internet, or modem and update the output file in NewsScroll. Sender allows users to create news data from a remote location, choose settings such as displaying logo and/or clock, and directly send it on air. Sender also gives end-users the power to edit a file that is currently open at the host location, and start and stop the live application.

NOTE: NewsScroll 2.0 requires GenCG 4.0 to create template files. With the LCG, ToGo, or any other single channel series CG, you will NOT able to run NewsScroll and GenCG simultaneously.

Sender Software Included

With the Sender software, you are able to control NewsScroll's functions and update information remotely via LAN or Internet.
